Privacy Policy
How carouselflow collects, uses, and protects your information when you turn an idea into a ready-to-post carousel. Plain language first, legal precision second.
The short version
carouselflow is a tool that turns a single idea into a finished social carousel — it writes the hook, builds the slides, and generates the backgrounds. To do that, we need a little information from you. This policy explains exactly what.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not train shared models on your private project content, and we don't post anything to your social accounts unless you explicitly connect them and ask us to. Everything below is the detail behind those three promises.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the product, bill you, and improve the output quality. It breaks down into three buckets:
We do not ask for or store payment card numbers directly — card details are handled by our payment processor (see Section 06).
How we use it
- To generate your carousels — your topic, niche, and prompts are sent to AI models that write copy and produce backgrounds.
- To keep your work — projects, drafts, and exports are saved to your account so you can return to them.
- To run your plan — we count AI image generations against your Free allowance or Creator monthly credits.
- To improve quality — we review aggregate, de-identified patterns (e.g. which formats get re-rolled most) to tune defaults.
- To reach you — transactional email about your account, billing, and meaningful product changes. You can opt out of non-essential email anytime.
AI & your content
The core of carouselflow runs on AI models, some operated by us and some by third-party providers. When you generate, the prompt and relevant project context are sent to those models to produce a result.
Training
We do not use your private project content to train shared, public models. We may use de-identified, aggregated signals to improve our own ranking and defaults. Where a third-party provider processes a prompt, we use accounts configured to exclude that content from their general model training.
Generated images
Backgrounds and visuals are produced algorithmically. You're responsible for reviewing any output before publishing — see the Terms for the full content responsibility clause.
Who we share with
We share data only with vendors that help us operate, and only as much as each one needs:
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. If carouselflow is ever acquired, your data would transfer under the same commitments described here.
Your rights & choices
- Access & export — download your projects and account data from Settings.
- Correction — edit your profile, niche, and posting details anytime.
- Deletion — delete a project, or delete your account entirely, which removes your content within 30 days.
- Marketing opt-out — unsubscribe from non-essential email without affecting your account.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise any of them, contact us at the address in Section 10 and we'll respond within the timeframe the law requires.
Retention & security
We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active. When you delete content it's removed from active systems promptly and purged from backups within 30 days. We protect data in transit and at rest with industry-standard encryption and restrict internal access to staff who need it.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your data, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Children
carouselflow is not directed to anyone under 13, and you must meet your platform's minimum age (often 13–18 with consent) to use it. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
